When Life Feels Overwhelming
Sometimes life can feel like it’s coming at you nonstop. It’s as if every obstacle, every challenge, is piling up—one right after the other. You might feel like you’re drowning, gasping for air, asking yourself, “When will I finally be able to breathe?”
It’s easy to feel attacked in these moments, like the world is against you, but maybe it’s not the people around you. Maybe it’s not life playing you. If you change your mindset shift from what I call “stinking thinking” you can start to see things differently.
What if all of these obstacles, all of these moments that feel like too much, are actually God testing you? Testing to see how much you trust Him, even when the weight feels unbearable, even in the middle of your storm.
It’s easy to say “trust the process,” but let me be real, it’s not easy to live out. Trusting the process is hard as hell. It’s uncomfortable, it’s frustrating, and it stretches you to limits you didn’t even know you had. But I’ve come to understand that in the midst of all the chaos, God wins every single time.
I’m choosing to trust Him through it all. And as tough as the journey may be, I will still say yes. Yes, to the hard days. Yes, to the uncertainty. Yes, to the moments where I feel like giving up, because I know that my blessings will always outweigh my troubles.
So, I’m thankful. Thankful for every blessing, every lesson, and every moment of protection that God has provided for me and my family—whether it’s seen or unseen. I know that no one can come against me because I am God’s favorite child. And I know He doesn’t play about me.
When life feels like it’s lifin’, remember: God wins every time. Trust Him. He’s got you, even when it feels like you’re drowning.
