Finding Strength in God and Extending Grace to Others
Finding Strength in God and Extending Grace to Others
Father God, grant me strength for today. There are moments when I feel tested by those around me, and it’s easy to let the weight of the world weigh heavy on my heart. Right now, the world is going through so much. People are struggling, often in silence, carrying burdens that others may never see. It’s important to remember that we don’t always know what someone else is facing.
We often expect help and support from others during difficult times, but when that help doesn’t come, disappointment follows. Our expectations of people will fail us if we rely too heavily on them. Instead, we must give grace, understanding that sometimes, others simply aren’t in a place to give what we need. It’s not that they don’t love or support us; they may just need time. They, too, could be going through their own battles in silence.
We must find our peace in the Lord and learn to move forward, knowing that God is always there. Let’s step out of our feelings, release unrealistic expectations of others, and extend the same grace we hope to receive. Remember, it’s okay for people to take a step back; sometimes, they need it to come back stronger.
Lean on God, for His strength never fails. Let that be enough, and let your heart rest in that truth.
